S1E5: Kathy Porter is now official

Today we made it official that Kathy Porter is our official co-host for Good Things; Little Places: The Podcast. We talk about a bunch of stuff. We are off script and it is interesting to see just how a conversation can go. We begin with an introduction to Kathy and what she is doing with her career. Then it's just all over. We learn so much about Kathy and man she is great. She takes any situation and gets a positive out of it. Kathy has two (2) loving parents that gave her a very good life. She was taught and had it instilled in her to Walk in the Light with Christ. Being the person that she is, she cares. Even in elementary school, she was a peer mediator and was caring for not only her classmates, but her whole school . She would be at recess and was there on official duty. Making sure everyone was safe and nobody was getting in trouble. I remember doing the same thing. I was a hall monitor and boy did I monitor those halls.

This can show that no matter what kind of up bringing you had, you can do great in this world and continue to provide a caring heart for others. Animals also help us cope with some of the things we go through, especially in the social work field that Kathy and I are in. We talk about our dogs and how they really do provide an unconditional love that not many hoomans can provide for us. King is my 100 lbs Great Pyrinese, and Kathy's "replica" of King is a cute and cuddly boy who's name is Murphy. I had sent her a picture at Christmas and she says King looks just like Murphy. That's great huh. They do, look.
